Since 1954, the Società Artigiana Pelletterie Artistiche Fiorentine, now known as Sapaf Atelier 1954, has always focused on craftsmanship excellence and the uniqueness of its products. In the 1950s/60s, the company exalted its craftsmanship skills with limited productions and unique models, such as evening handbags in precious leathers and 24-carat gold decorations, asserting itself for quality. In the 1970s and 1980s, Sapaf conquered the international market, gaining trust in the United States and Japan thanks to its high quality. The 1990s/00s marked a positive strategic transformation, with the strengthening of technical know-how and the evolution of Sapaf Atelier 1954 towards the 2.0 era. Today, Sapaf Atelier 1954 is one of the most exclusive brands on the luxury scene, maintaining the excellence and experience that have characterised it from the beginning.

Sapaf considers it a privilege to work within the company, where young apprentices grow professionally in a family environment. Since 2003, it has been the first Italian leather goods company to apply the SA8000 (Social Accountability) standard, demonstrating a strong commitment to respect for work and the satisfaction of its employees.

Environmental

Respect for the environment is central to Sapaf's philosophy, which is committed to producing beauty without harming the planet. We use only certified energy from renewable sources, reducing CO2 emissions by 30,000 kg annually. We collaborate with the University of Florence to develop innovative techniques and materials, minimising environmental impact and promoting the reuse of products through a certification of authenticity.

Economical

Sapaf pays great attention to economic sustainability, ensuring fair wages for workers and fair sales prices. This commitment ensures that customers receive adequate value for the quality and exclusivity of the products.
